802 Toyota: Join Our Service Team

Description:
802 Toyota is looking for a service assistant to join our Service team! As a service assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the service department by answering customer phone calls, addressing customer inquiries, coordinating loaner vehicles, and organizing/filing department paperwork.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Answer 802 Toyota phone calls (answer questions, communicate with service advisors)
  • Cashier Toyota paperwork
  • Call no-show appointments for 802 Toyota
  • Check Toyota recalls for appointments the following day
  • Call customers without an email address for appointment reminders
  • Call customers to come in for second maintenance
  • Drafts rental agreements for Toyota Rent A Car (TRAC)
  • Perform administrative functions related to TRAC
  • Greets customer and obtains customer and vehicle information and mileage
  • Recommend needed express services and related parts
  • Conduct a detailed active delivery of each vehicle
  • Provide outstanding customer service in accourdance with dealership policies
  • Maintain current knowledge of Toyota vehicle service requirements, operations, warranties and campaigns, and technican service bulletins
  • Write complete, accurate repair orders (RO) in accordance with dealership policies
  • Determine general nature of repairs needed and writes a clear description of customer needs on ROs
  • Walks around vehicle with customer noting any damage. Also points out other repairs or maintenance for which the customer has a need
  • Provide customer with multi-point inspection results, estimated repair costs, and anticpated time of completion
  • Verifies inteded method of payment and obtains customer signature on repair order
  • Sends repair order to be dispatched and maintains contact with technicians throughout the day
  • Calculates estimates on technician-found repairs and notifies customer of these needs
  • Notifies customer when repairs are completed
  • Attends periodic department meetings
  • Compiles and prepares reports as requested
  • Clears snow from in front of the service doors and off of the service customer cars when necessary
  • Provide preliminary estimates on work orders
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Previous automotive experience in a dealership a plus, but we will train the right person
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • A great attitude and work ethic
