This is Winnie!

Winnie and her human companions, Emily Cahill (802 Cars Staff Accountant) and her children, will be at the Central Vermont Humane Society Walk for Animals on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at Montpelier High School! Find out more about Winnie in the Q & A below.

Q. Why are you walking at the Walk for Animals?

A. Because we don’t want any animals to be hungry or homeless!

Q. What kind of doggy is Winnie?

A. Pitbull/fox terrier mix

Q. When did you get Winnie?

A. May 5, 2016

Q. How old is Winnie?

A. Two and a half years old.

Q. Was she adopted? If so, from where?

A. We got her from a rescue called Circle of Hope. She was in Tennessee when I fell in love with her picture and they brought her to a foster mom in Connecticut and we went there to get her.

Q. Where is her favorite place?

A. Walking on the rail trail or under Viano’s covers. (Viano is my 10-year-old daughter)

Q. What’s her favorite thing (toy, food, other animals, kids, hikes)?

A. Our cat, Leo. A close runner-up would be licking everyone she sees.

Q. Can she do any tricks?

A. High ten is her best trick (we call it “party time”). She can occasionally sit, lay down, and shake on command.

Q. Any other info about how amazing Winnie is?

A. She’s the sweetest, most neurotic and needy ball of love. ❤️

Emily also wanted to share a picture of her three adorable kitties too, because her family will be walking for them as well!
