Domenic Cerminara, Service Manager, started off as a sales consultant at 802 Honda, moved to Twin City Subaru as a Service Advisor in 2015 and was promoted to Service Manager last year. Read the Q&A below to find out more:
Q. How long have you been working in the automotive industry and what jobs have you held in this field?
A. I have been in the automotive industry since May of 2014. I started as a salesman at 802 Honda.
Q. What advice would you give a new Subaru owner about their vehicle?
A. “Congratulations on being an owner of Vermont’s number 1 car!”
Q. What plans do you have to improve the service department?
A. Customer satisfaction is key. When I first moved to the area I heard excellent things about TCS and I’m hoping that the team and I can improve and maintain that reputation.
Q. What is your #1 goal as manager of the Twin City Subaru Service Department?
A. I have many goals for TCS, but my main focus is to make the Twin City Service department #1 in our district.
Q. Why do you like working at Twin City Subaru?
A. I don’t like working at TCS, I LOVE working at TCS. I enjoy the customers I work with, I like the product and find it interesting, and the biggest thing is my staff. I have an excellent group of people who work for me and with me. If I didn’t have them I would consider this a “JOB” and not a career.
Q. Tell me a little about yourself – family, pets, hobbies?
A. In my spare time, I love being with my family. I have a 9-month-old son who I adore, and my wife of 5 years is an excellent mother and friend. If I did not have them in my life, I don’t believe I could ever be as happy as I am today. I enjoy a good football or basketball game. In the summer we go “glamping”(camping in a trailer) in NH and VT campgrounds. We enjoy the outdoors as a family and enjoy it more when we have other family and friends there with us. Grilling over an open flame in the summer is a great pleasure to me. In the winter I snowmobile a lot in Rangeley, Maine, and make frequent trips there throughout the year to visit my parents. I believe every day is a good day!
