Meet Rick Velez

802 Toyota Service Advisor, Rick Velez, attended Lyndon State College and his favorite place to travel to is Florida. He enjoys eating at JP Morgan’s Steakhouse in Montpelier, VT, and if he could have any car it would be a Lexus IS450. Rick is one of the advisors you work with when you walk into the service entrance at 802 Toyota. See what else Rick has to say in the Q&A below.

Q. How long have you worked for 802 Toyota?
A. I have worked at 802 Toyota for two years.

Q. What was your position when you first started here and what is your position now?
A. I began as a Reconditioning Technician and moved over to become a Service Advisor.

Q. What hobbies or things do you like to do for fun outside of work?
A. I like to be outdoors any chance I can get. I like football, basketball and lacrosse. I also enjoy collecting and working on cars.

Q. What is something that most people don’t know about you?
A. I have three cars and a motorcycle. And they are a ’98 Lexus GS400, a ’14 Toyota Tacoma, a ’79 Chevy Malibu, and a ’06 Suzuki 1300R Hayabusa!

Q. Why do you like working at 802 Toyota?
A. I love the work environment at 802 Toyota and the people I work with. My job is very rewarding when working with the customers.

Q. Why do you think people should come to 802 Toyota Scion to service their vehicle?
A. Customers should service their vehicles with us because we have a great service team. Including our great team of technicians that can solve most concerns in a timely manner
