Enjoy three days celebrating farmers and food, built around the Strolling of the Heifers Parade (Saturday at 10 am) featuring beauti fully groomed heifer calves led by future farmers, plus other animals, tractors, bands and floats. Friday evening street fair, Saturday Slow Living Expo, and Sunday farm-to-farm Tour de Heifer cycling rides!

2. BURLINGTON’S 32nd ANNUAL DISCOVER JAZZ FESTIVAL – June 5-14, 2015 – (http://discoverjazz.com/)

The 10-day Burlington Discover Jazz Festival brings together live music lovers of all ages for one heck of a party. Burlington Discover Jazz Festival events and performances happen from Flynn Center to the downtown clubs and restaurants, played by performers ranging from local artists to internationally recognized superstars!

3. ROCKFIRE – June 27-28, 2015 – Millstone Hill/Barre, VT (www.rockfirevt.com)

Rockfire Vermont
 A unique combination of art, music and fire on a monumental scale, celebrating central Vermont’s colorful granite heritage, set in the abandoned quarries and granite ruins. Day and evening activities; Saturday night three-mile long procession, lit by thousands of luminaries with dozens of bonfires, all leading to fire-lit art installations and live performance stages!

4. STOWEFLAKE HOT AIR BALLOON FESTIVAL – July 10-12, 2015 – Stowe, VT (www.stoweflake.com/balloon)

Stoweflake Hot Air Balloon Festival

 Over 25 hot air balloons will soar over this family-friendly event; enjoy vendors, children’s activities, music and the beer/wine
garden, and create memories to last as you watch the balloons up close and take off to fill the sky. Two sunrise and two twilight launches.

5. HOPS IN THE HILLS BEER & WINE FESTIVAL – August 7-9, 2015 – Okemo Mountain Resort, Ludlow, VT (www.okemo.com/hops)

Sample over 50 craft beers, over a dozen hard ciders and more than 20 wines while hanging out in the beautiful courtyard at
Okemo’s Jackson Gore Inn. Enjoy a great line up of live music, delicious local food and goods from neighborhood crafters. A family-friendly event. Bring your picnic blankets and lawn chairs!
