Our 802 Toyota Softball Team left Wednesday night at 10 p.m. to start their 14-hour journey to Columbus, Ohio, where they’ll be competing at the National Tournament! They had a great season, finishing 1st in the Barre League with a record of 28-2; they finished 5th in the Barre League Tournament, 5th in the State Tournament in Hyde Park, and 2nd in the E-Qualifier Tournament in Brattleboro.
The 802 team will be playing against teams from Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, New York and New Jersey! Last year they placed 5th in the National Tournament, which was held in Virginia.
“We beat some very tough teams and 5th place was better than everyone expected,” said Tim Wheatley, our 802 Toyota Assistant Parts Manager.
