Berlin, Vt. — 802 Toyota Scion was recognized last Thursday, June 28 as the Best New Car Dealer of 2012 by the Times Argus. Times Argus readers were surveyed and the majority chose 802 Toyota Scion as their favorite local new car dealership.

According to the Best of the Best website, “Many of the award winners are local icons or long-time favorites, but some of them might not have as much time in the public eye. We hope you find out for yourselves what makes these business and people special enough to be the Best.”

General Manager of 802 Toyota Scion Todd Mobley is extremely proud and grateful to have achieved an award voted on by local Vermonters.

“This award means more to us than any other achievement solely on the basis that the community honored us with this recognition. It confirms for us that trusting in ‘doing the right thing’ for the community and our customers is recognized and appreciated. This honor makes us want to continue our efforts to constantly improve for the benefit of our customers,” he said.

802 Toyota Scion has been taking strides towards bettering the community, including the creation of “802cars.org” to raise money for those affected by Hurricane Irene; and most recently, the construction of a self-sufficient, environmentally-friendly dealership driven towards enhancing health and quality customer experience.

“Besides setting the standard for excellent customer care, we also will have a solar powered, self-heated, zero landfill facility setting the new green standard for car dealerships,” said Owner, Dave Birmingham. “Being voted ‘The Best New Car Dealer’ in Vermont really validates all the efforts our team makes every day to create a better experience for our customers. We are putting the same efforts into building our new 802 Toyota Scion facility to both serve the customer and be good stewards of our environment. The best is yet to come.”
