Toyota and Samsung are joining forces to create an app in which Samsung smart phones can connect to entertainment and information systems installed in Toyota vehicles. This will enhance connectivity, multimedia capabilities and Internet services, according to the article.
The Samsung Car Mode will make it possible for users to use voice commands alongside navigation and location services. The marketing will begin for this app later on in the year, so don’t expect it right away, but it is coming very soon.
As much as I think this is very cool, I’m wishing that Toyota paired with Apple… but only because I’m going to be very jealous of Samsung users when this one comes out.
